Watchet Baptist Church
We're a medium sized (50+ member), Home Mission supported church on the West Somerset Coast.
Most of our regular missional activities take place in our town centre community building called The Sanctuary (www.thesanctuary.org.uk) and range from Youth Cafes to Art Groups to running a Counseling Service to a weekly Community Meal.
We've been blessed to be invited to run a Prayer Tent at Watchet Music Festival for the last 4 years which is the subject of this video. Hope you enjoy it!

Rev Carl Smethurst, minister of Watchet Baptist Church, says that the festival was one of the most valuable things that they did as a church last year. They were able to have some fantastic conversations with many people who would never normally attend church, to offer a spiritual 'space' right in the heart of the festival, and to grow together as churches working and worshipping as one.

Give thanks with s that we have so many opportunities to share the gospel in word & deed with those in our community and tourists from across the world.
Pray that those we are getting to know in our local community will decide to follow Jesus and be baptised.
Pray that we will continue to know God's blessing and guidance as we bless others in His name.
