In 2015 we are launching the SWBA Stronger Together Mission Fund. The purpose is two-fold:

 

To promote mission - by making small grants to churches

or groups of churches for specific mission and outreach projects.

 

To promote and strengthen the sense of connectivity

between our churches - by sharing the stories of the

projects the grant monies have supported

 

At the heart of this fund will be one Sunday each year when we ask all our churches to set aside either a whole service or part of a service, to hear about and pray for mission and outreach projects in other parts of the south west.

 

Churches who have received a grant will be asked to make a short video about their project to share their story - these videos can be used in the special service for inspiration, encouragement and prayer.  Other services ideas and resources will also be available to download from this site.  

 

We hope that every church will then either allocate an amount in their budget to give to the fund, or take up a special offering on the day, or both!  The money given will go into the mission fund to enable more grants to be given in the following year.
